Sometimes known as “day rehab,” a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) lets a client benefit from the intensive support of a residential treatment program while still spending evenings at home. It can be thought of as a mid-point between full inpatient hospitalization and outpatient care.
Going far beyond the level of support offered in a traditional AA group, Intensive Outpatient Program groups are led by Master’s level therapists with extensive experience supporting addiction recovery. The goal of the IOP group is to help each member learn to manage their behaviors, emotions, and cognitions in a way that effectively prevents relapse from occurring.
Detoxification is the process by which toxins are removed from a person’s body. Individuals will be assessed for the need for this process upon admission.
